- The name is Cory Ramos and I'm a Physical Education major at Suny Cortland. I'm a transfer junior from Sullivan County Community College. The thing that inspired me to become a P.E. major was coaching my siblings in the game of basketball at a young age and I was voluteer coach for S.C.C.C basketball camp for several years. I also had won the S.C.C.C. outstanding second year student for Physical Education Studies. I'm thrilled to be here at Cortland and I plan on taking this opportunity and making the best of it. I am a firm believer in giving the kids 100 percent of me because the kids deserve it. Cortland will be instrumental to helping me achieve my dream of becoming a P.E. instructor.
